TMI Tuesday: July 3, 2018

Thought-provoking TMI Tuesday blog post here for your enjoyment.

Hellowe’re listening.

1. Picture the child you once were, what did that child do very well?
As a child I was always able to crawl under the radar. Even if it was a newfangled invention back then.
2. What are you really good at now?
I am presently really good at sneaking under the radar. Purely out of necessity since all radar has death rays attached to it these days despite government denials.
3. Did you ever expect love in return and not get it?
I always try to have no expectations. I made the mistake of having expectations for returned love once. What a chump I am.
4. Who do you need to get in touch with because it has been so long?
Everyone I have not been in touch with has counted off the perfect amount of time. Still counting in all cases until the counting stops.
5. What are your thoughts on this: “Every woman deserves her special day. I get that. But does it really have to cost so much fucking money? I mean, c’mon. If you’re serious about building a future with a guy, why bankrupt him?”
Every person deserves a special day. If it needs to cost lots of money you may have the wrong person.
Bonus: What is your number one priority?
Being part of the solution, no matter how small that contribution may be.

Highly Unlikely

JoJo was the unlikely, as well as the very likely tail end of Tails from Slammies. First impressions are quite often highly skewed and incorrect except for when they are not. For the type of woman you would never peg for a geezer groupie, baby girl resplendent in daddy issues, or grandmother; this tight bodied, tatted up, ageless energetic goofball beauty was a force of nature.

Through the long unfolding of Tails of Slammies, spanning the three sisters of legend: Cathy, Janine, and Peggy, through the incidental drive-by Sindy, JoJo was apropos punctuation.

Binaries

Either

You are dead

Or

You are not dead

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Brings to mind one of my favorite Oscar Wilde quotes:

"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."

TMI Tuesday: November 15, 2016

TMI Tuesday posted, during wee hours of the morning.

1. What shoes would  you like  to fill today?
Back when this movie was made, and my girlfriend of the time not only dressed like this but kind of looked like this; I didn't fill those shoes but often spread those shoes with her feet still in them while they hovered over my back and butt for extended periods of time in her parents basement. Some of the few times my youth was not wasted on the young me. I still do not want to fill those shoes today, but smile broadly from the recollections.

2. What is the next big dollar purchase you are planning to make?

I do not plan to create any more jobs by purchasing any big ticket items for at least the next four years. I vote with my wallet and do not wish to encourage bad voter behavior. I will purchase only what I need . No more. No less.

3. You have $100,000 to spend on friends. How would you spend it?

Rent a Villa in an emerging market country that has low invasion prospects and entertain my house guests lavishly.

4. You have $5,000 to spend on your significant  other. How would  you spend it?

On experiences. Not consumer items. Ladies choice of course which as we know changes early and often. Perhaps a surprise bauble or trinket for good measure.

5. What is your favorite waste of time ?

Watching what is now billed as Televisions New Golden Age. Long term commitment, plot driven, high budget television shows brought to you by people that want to sell you things you don't need, spending money you don't have, to impress people you don't like.
Bonus: Tell us about the most mischievous  thing you did as a kid.

Played "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" with the girl who lived across the street from me. If only I knew how my interest would blossom as she did blossomed only a few years later; I would have acted more impressed.

What’s new? Another TMI Tuesday, that’s what!

Say What?

saywhat_tmi
1. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Send my kids to go off and live with their mother after she remarried and could offer them a better life. PS. That did not work out.

2. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
Became a googly eyed romantic

3. When was the last time you had an amazing meal? What was it? Why was it amazing for you?
A lovely woman I know made pulled pork taco's from scratch. We worked together and that made it so much better.

4. What’s the best/worst gift you've ever given/received?
The affection's of  a woman.
5. What do you miss most about being a kid?
Having someone who paid for everything that they could possibly afford for me. It wasn't everything but they did the best they could.
Bonus: What is something you learned in the last week?
That people you love will make mistakes. Forgive.

Is salt really so bad for you? - Salon.com

Is salt really so bad for you? - Salon.com:

But buying that low sodium stuff increases someones profits and makes us feel all good and proactive and like we are doing something instead of being out of control and helpless. Now cue the next batch of research so I will know what to be  a'scared of now so dumb money can continue it's natural flow to smart money.

Like a Swarm of Lethal Bugs: The Most Terrifying Drone Video Yet - The Atlantic

Paid for by the tax payer, ostensibly to protect the tax payer, eventually turned loose on the tax payer to protect the landed gentry from the tax payer.

So has it been. So shall it ever be.

It's About Time

Mitch McConnell On Obama Inauguration Speech: 'The Era Of Liberalism Is Back':

We have suffered the consequences of Ronald Reagan and his ilk long enough. The Reagan /Bush's credit card bills have come due and only "We" the people can pay them off and right the ship of state. So stop your Mitching and get out of the way
